PA Hire in Manchester

The challenge.

STAV runs AV and PA hire across the North West, from small two-speaker packages up to premium d&b PA systems for audiences of 2,000. The site had to sell to two very different audiences: event organisers who want the stress taken off them, and self-operating trade clients who just want the kit list and price. It also had to explain the three service levels (dry-hire, delivered, operated) without making the reader wade through jargon.

The approach.

• Public pricing on every inventory item, so trade clients can self-serve.
• System packages framed by outcome (business event, hybrid streaming, live music) rather than by kit.
• Three service levels explained plainly: dry-hire (up to £350), delivered (with set-up), operated (STAV on site).
• “Recommendation” language throughout instead of “quote”, matching the brand voice.
• Copy leads with the feeling of pressure the organiser is under, not the technical spec.

The result.

• Delivered on time within pack budget.
• Site now sells both to business event organisers and trade clients without one killing the other.
• Public pricing pages carry the transactional inbound revenue the brand values.

The pack.

Under the current Liverpool Web Designers packs, this build sits closest to the Growth pack (£2,995): multi-page site, service and pricing pages, enquiry forms, and analytics from day one. Public pricing was the load-bearing decision.
