Common questions.
Will I lose my Google rankings during redesign?
Not if it’s done properly. We keep every existing URL that has traffic or backlinks, rebuild the pages on those same URLs, and put 301 redirects on anything we remove. Google notices a redesign, but it stays put.
Can you keep my current URLs?
Yes. That’s the default. We’ll audit your current URLs against Google Search Console data, keep the ones with rankings and links, and only change the ones that need it.
How do you handle 301 redirects for pages I remove?
Every removed URL gets a 301 redirect to the closest new page (or the homepage if there’s no fit). We use Rank Math’s redirect manager so you can see and edit the list yourself, and we monitor Search Console for 30 days after launch to catch anything we missed.
What if my existing site has custom features I need to keep?
Bring them. Booking widgets, member areas, gated content, custom calculators, WooCommerce cart. We audit them, rebuild what still makes sense, and drop what’s not being used. You get a written list of what’s coming across and what isn’t before we start.
Do you migrate my content or do I paste it in?
We migrate. Every page, image, and blog post from the old site comes across. You review, we tidy anything that’s aged badly (copyright dates, old team members, prices that have moved). Fresh content is written by us or by you, agreed up front.
How long does a redesign take vs a rebuild?
Redesign (same content, new design and structure) runs three to five weeks. Full rebuild (new content, new design, new structure) runs six to eight weeks. If you need it faster we’ll tell you honestly what can and can’t be done.
